From A Beginner Student To A Partner, or, The Opening Of SARGOI In The City Of Rivne And Its Background

Last Saturday, September 8, 2018, SARGOI International Community officially cut the red ribbon and announced the opening of another representative office of the community in the city of Rivne.

Oleksandr Voznyuk, Director of SARGOI International Community in the city of Rivne, came to Kyiv in 2015 to study English from scratch.

Oleksandr remembers: “I liked that in SARGOI, not only did I learn to speak quickly, but I developed first and foremost as a person. English-language seminars and meetings raised questions of self-development and introspection of my personality, as a leader. I remember well the workshops from coach Bohdan Budzan, where, with a number of questions, I became more aware of what I wanted to do in my professional and personal life. When the question arose about starting my own business, I thought - why not buy or develop a SARGOI franchise in my hometown?”

Preparations for the opening of the representative office began in March of this year. During this time, Oleksandr recruited a young and ambitious team who had completed intensive training and practice at the Head Office in Kyiv.

Today, the SARGOI doors, and with them, the road to high-quality English language, opened for residents of the city of Rivne. It's great that we are all set to help people realize their dream with English, and gain international experience, in another city of Ukraine. Good on you, SARGOI Concept Office Rivne. Anastasia presented sophisticated methodological terms and their definitions in extremely interesting, interactive forms. Work in groups, pairs, speaking, discussions, 'Fitness', 'Spelling Bee' and 'Reflection Bubbles' left no one indifferent! We were active participants in the study, the practical orientation of which has surpassed all our hopes. We will forever remember our roles: TKT Glossary Boss, Time Manager, Awesome Conclusion Maker, Thorough Proofreader, Ultra-Careful Note-Taker And Coordinator, Mysterious Inspector, Aha-Moment etc. Extremely interesting and entertaining lessons based on the latest European teaching techniques, lasted for three hours during six full days, and flew by imperceptibly for each of us.

Anastasiya created a team of friendly, non-indifferent, active, ready-to-grow teachers who are open to new modern methods of the European educators’ community. We are happy to be a modest part of it. Anastasiya taught us how to synthesize different methods of looking for new opportunities to improve the efficiency of training each student.

Our TKT group (Alla Hoptyar, Anna Zubik, Diana Bodnarchuk, Inna Mahovych, Irina Svider, Katerina Tymchuk, Natalia Melyekesceva, Natalya Slipachuk, Natalia Frasinyuk, Oleksandra Magdiy, Tatiana Mitrosova, Tetyana Olinets, Tetyana Storchova) are preparing to pass the certification at the end of July, with the knowledge we acquired from Module 1.

SARGOI English-Language Camp In The Carpathians, June 2018

SARGOI English-Language Camp In The Carpathians, June 2018

During the first week of summer, teachers and children of the SARGOI community in Kamyanets-Podilskyi held an unforgettable week in the Carpathians.

Every day we practiced and studied English, worked and played in teams, actively participated in sports and communed with the environment on walks in the forest and in the mountains. Wonderful memories from the senior girls Louise and Bogdana, who helped organize quests for younger groups. Additionally, we drew a replica of Picasso's painting, worked on presentation skills and practiced yoga.

SARGOI wishes to thank the young participants of SARGOI Summer Camp in the Carpathians 2018, as well as our professional teachers and camp organizers who have made great efforts for this event.
