Всесвітній день тварин бере свій початок у 1925 році, коли Генріх Циммерман організував перше святкування в Берліні. Дата 4 жовтня також відома як день святого Франциска Ассізького, покровителя тварин. Тварини не можуть розмовляти звичайним способом, яким люди спілкуються між собою. Не дивлячись на це, кожен господар розуміє свого домашнього улюбленця. Сьогодні можна зробити приємність для своєї домашньої тваринки у вигляді смаколиків або нової іграшки.

Слово дня: “ТВАРИННИЦТВО” -  галузь сільського господарства, що займається розведенням корисних свійських тварин.
