Різдвяні листівки - це не просто шматочки паперу з красивими зображеннями, а символи уваги й турботи. Перша різдвяна листівка з’явилася у 1843 році в Англії. Її створив британський художник Джон Калкот Хорслі на замовлення сера Генрі Коула, державного службовця, який шукав зручний спосіб привітати своїх знайомих із Різдвом. Листівка зображувала сімейну сцену святкування та містила коротке привітання: «Щасливого Різдва та Нового року». Вона стала надзвичайно популярною, і з часом ця традиція поширилася по всьому світу.

Слово дня: “ЛИСТІВКА" -  поштова картка, іноді з малюнком з одного боку, для відкритого листа.

У магазині я придбала яскраву листівку із зображенням новорічної ялинки.
