20 липня. Міжнародний день шахів

Любителі шахів у всьому світі сьогодні відзначають день своєї улюбленої гри. Прототипом шахів була індійська гра «Чатуранга», в яку одночасно могли грати 4 особи. Не дивно, що саме в Індії, країні мудрості, на світ з’явилася ця прекрасна гра. Шахи - чудовий спосіб поліпшити свою пам’ять. Гра по праву вважається відмінним засобом у боротьбі з хворобою Альцгеймера.

Слово дня: “ФЕРЗЬ” -  найсильніша фігура в шаховій грі, яку можна пересувати на будь-яке число клітин по прямій лінії або по діагоналі в усіх напрямках.

Стратегічно розташований ферзь на шаховій дошці загрожував королю супротивника.
