Zero Discrimination Day

Zero Discrimination Day

March: Change & Responsibility

Zero Discrimination Day promotes equality and respect for all people. It was created by UNAIDS to raise awareness about discrimination, especially against people living with HIV. Over time, the day has become a global movement supported by the United Nations and many communities around the world. It encourages people to accept differences in race, gender, disability, religion, and background. Zero Discrimination Day reminds us that everyone deserves dignity, equal rights, and fair treatment in society.

The word of the day:  inclusion (noun)/ɪnˈkluːʒən/

Meaning: the action of making sure everyone feels welcome, respected, and part of a group.

Example: Our school supports inclusion, so all students can learn together and feel safe.
