Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) was a world-famous scientist who lived during a time of great political conflict and rapid scientific progress. After leaving Germany because of the rise of the Nazi regime, he continued his work in the United States and developed groundbreaking theories, including the theory of relativity, which changed our understanding of space, time, and energy. His famous equation, E = mc², became one of the best-known formulas in history. Beyond science, Einstein spoke out about peace, human rights, and responsibility in the atomic age.
